Biography

2024: Started in all 18 games for the Bobcats and played 805 minutes… Recorded six goals and one assist for 13 points… Had one game-winning goal against Central Michigan (Nov. 1)… Earned Academic All-MAC honors.

2023: Started all 16 games for the Bobcats… Tallied 10 points on the season with three goals and four assists… First goal of the season was a game-winner in the closing seconds over Kent State (Sept. 22), and then scored against Miami (Oct. 6) and Davidson (Oct. 29)… Assisted twice in an 8-2 victory over Bellarmine (Oct. 20), and also assisted in wins against Indiana (Sept. 10) and Longwood (Sept. 29)… Tied career high in goals, and earned career highs in assists and points… Ranked fourth on the team in goals and assists, and third in points… All-MAC Second Team honors... Named Academic All-MAC.

2022: Appeared in 17 games, starting 16 for the Bobcats… Scored three goals and registered an assist… Scored against Central Michigan (Sept.2), Queens (Sept. 18), and netted the game-winner against St. Francis (Oct. 16)…Registered a .750 shots on goal percentage…Played all 60 minutes at Indiana on Oct. 23.  

Prior to Ohio: Four-year player for St. Mary’s School Waverley under coaches Ros Howell, Roxy Coetzee- Turner and Cindy Brown… Captained the team in 2020… Received full colors award (2018/2020) … Named Fisher- Hill Trophy winner (2020) … Received the Skinner trophy (2019) … Parktown Festival champions in 2019… Apart of the Super 12 top schools hockey teams… Second place in Johannesburg hockey league (2021)… Originally attended University of the Witwatersrand (2021) … Second place in Southern Gauteng hockey league

Personal: Born August 5th, 2002… Daughter of Mangadi Dikotla… Has a sister named Oratile… Enjoys reading, singing, baking, coding, and knitting in her free time… Favorite athlete is Simone Biles… Favorite sports team include Netherlands Women’s hockey team, South African Women’s Netball Team, and the Springboks… Loves spending time with her baby sister and she is special to her and is excited to watch her grow up… Plans to pursue career in water treatment or renewable energy
