All three days and all mats will be shown on an ESPN platform. Session one is set to start at 11 a.m. CT with session two following at 6 p.m. CT tomorrow (March 16).
No. 29 Hagan (Eureka, Mo.) is set to take on No. 4 Caleb Henson (Virginia Tech) in the 149-pound bracket. At 157 pounds, No. 26 Kellar (Cutler, Ohio) will face off against No. 7 Bryce Andonian (Virginia Tech).
No. 26 Perrine (Northfield, Ohio) is slated to wrestle No. 7 Peyton Mocco (Mizzou) in the 174-pound bracket. No. 31 Lehman (Akron, Ohio) will face off against No. 2 Trent Hidlay (NC State) at 184 pounds.
Lehman and Kellar earned bids to the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships for the first time in their careers. Both Hagan and Perrine earned their second bid to the national championships—Hagan qualified in in 2020 while Perrine earned an at-large bid in 2022.
The Bobcats are coming off a fourth-place finish at the 2023 Mid-American Conference Championships in Fairfax, Va. at the EagleBank Arena on George Mason's campus. Kellar was dominant in the third-place match, punching his ticket to Tulsa with a 9-2 decision. After an early loss, Hagan wrestled through the consolation bracket, coming out on top in the fifth-place match with a 4-3 decision.
Perrine defended his fourth-place finish and bid to nationals in a true fourth match against Rider's Michael Wilson. After being tied most of the match, Perrine's 3-1 sudden victory solidified second consecutive trip to the Division I Championships.
Lehman was pinned in the 184-pound championship match but was dominant in his true second match against Cleveland State's DeAndre Nassar, securing second place and his nationals bid with a 9-0 major decision.
