HOLLAND, Ohio – The Ohio women's golf team wrapped up play at the MAC Championships, hosted by Toledo at Stone Oak Country Club on Sunday (April 24). As a team, the Bobcats finished in 10th place, improving on their team score for the second consecutive day, scoring a 328 (+40) to finsih with a cumulative score of 996 (+132). Kent State finished in 1st place in the tournament, with a team score of 889 (+25)
Catherine Loftus finished as the top individual Bobcat, shooting another 83 (+11) on Sunday. Her full performance through the weekend of a 247 (+31) secured a finish in a tie for 36th place.
Avery Ovens secured the second-best individual Ohio score for the weekend, as her 82 (+10) on Sunday placed her into a tie for moved her into a tie for 40th by the end of the tournament.
Alicia Porvasnik finished strong on Sunday, shooting a 79 (+7) to end as the low Bobcat on the day. Her Sunday push moved her into a solo finish in 47th place.
Thanya Arasu and
Ashley Flynn, shot an 84 and 85 respectively, ending up in a tie for 45th place together.
