Athens, Ohio-- Both basketball teams are back at home this week, men's golf continues its first match of the season and softball and baseball begin their 2022 season. That and much more in this week's edition of Paw Prints.
BASEBALL
February 18-20 / at USC Upstate / Spartanburg, SC. / Harley Park
The baseball team will kick off its season in South Carolina with a three-game series against USC Upstate beginning on Friday. The Bobcats have taken game three of the series in each of the teams' last two matchups in 2018 and 2019. First pitch will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
February 15 / vs. Miami / Athens, Ohio / Convocation Center / 7 p.m. / ESPN3/+

The men's basketball returns home after a three-game road trip to take on rival Miami in The Convo. In the two team's previous meeting this year, the Bobcats took an easy 86-63 win. Ohio has taken the last five games against the RedHawks. On Friday, Ohio will travel to Kent State. The Bobcats have beaten the Golden Flashes in their last two matchups, including a 22-point win last seeason in the MAC Tournament.
MEN'S GOLF
February 13-15 / Advance Golf Partners Collegiate / Palm CIty, Fla.
The men's golf team will also begin their spring schedule this week, as they participate in the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate starting on Sunday, Feb. 13. They will wrap up on Tuesday.
SOFTBALL

The softball will kick off its 2022 season with five games in three days at the Cardinal Classic in Beaumont, hosted by Lamar. Ohio will take on Creighton and New Mexico on Friday, and host Lamar as well as another matchup against Creighton on Saturday. This will be the Bobcats' first matchup against any of the three teams in program history.
TRACK AND FIELD
February 19 / at Kent State / Kent State Collegiate Tune-Up / Kent, Ohio
The track and field team will head to Kent State for its last regular season meet of the indoor season. They will look for one last tune-up before heading to the MAC Championships next week.

The women's basketball team has a busy week with three games in five days. First, they will take on Eastern Michigan at home on Monday. Next to come to the Convo will be Toledo on Wednesday, and the Bobcats will make the trip to play the Falcons on Saturday. The three games will all be important for MAC Tournament seeding, as there are only five games left on the schedule after this week.
WRESTLING
February 19 / vs. Buffalo / Athens, Ohio / Convocation Center / 7 p.m. / ESPN3/+
The wrestling team will close its regular season on Saturday against Buffalo at home. The Bobcats are looking for their fourth-straight dual win to close out the season heading into the MAC Tournament, which will be hosted by the Bobcats. Ohio boats a 5-2 conference record this season.
