ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio men's basketball team (5-5) returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 17 when they finally return to Athens to host Stetson (5-4). Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. inside the Convocation Center. The Bobcats matchup will be seen on ESPN3 where Marty Bannister and Dave Cecutti will have the call.
The Bobcats' matchup can also be heard on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield. Russ Eisenstein returns for his 15th season as the "Voice of the Bobcats" and will be joined by Ohio alum Rob Cornlius, who has been a part of the broadcasts for two decades. WXTQ (Power 105) in Athens returns as the 11-station network's flagship.
STORYLINES
• Ohio is coming off an 82-48 loss against Florida on Dec. 14.
• This is the third all-time meeting between Ohio and Stetson.
• Ohio leads the all-time series, 2-0.
• The Bobcats and Hatters met last season, with Ohio defeating Stetson, 55-45 in DeLand, Fla.
• Stetson enters the matchup with Ohio with a 5-4 record and are coming off a 65-60 loss at Charleston on Dec. 14.

• On Dec. 11 at YSU, nine Bobcats scored for Ohio, with five scoring in double figures.
• Gabe Wiznitzer had a career night at Marshall, on Dec. 3, scoring a career-high 15 points.

• Miles Brown was stellar during the Bobcat Battle, averaging 16.0 points. 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals a game. He shot .688 from the field and was 8-of-11 (.727) from three, while making both free throws.
• Freshman AJ Brown made his Ohio debut on Nov. 25 against Eastern Illinois.
• Dwight Wilson III was a monster Sunday at Michigan, scoring 21 points, grabbing nine rebounds and hitting the game-tying basket at the end of regulation to force overtime.

SCOUTING STETSON
Stetson enters the matchup with Ohio with a 5-4 record and is coming off a 65-60 loss at the hands of Charleston on Dec. 14 in Charleston.
Overall, Stetson averages 77.2 points a game, while shooting .479 from the field, .389 from three and .701 from the line. The Hatters also average 34.9 rebounds a game, 15.1 assists and 6.2 steals a game. Stetson also force 11.7 turnovers a game.
Meanwhile, Opponents average 69.6 points and 33.6 rebounds a game. Opponents also shoot .423 from the field, .372 from three and .739 from the line. Opponents also dish out 12.6 assists and grab 4.4 steals a game, while also forcing 10.4 turnovers a game.
Individually, Luke Brown averages 11.3 points and 2.0 rebounds a game, while shooting .467 from the field, .459 from three and .857 from the line. Stephan Swenson adds 10.2 points and 4.3 assists, while Wheza Panzo averages 9.8 points and 4.6 rebounds a game.

Ohio enters the matchup with Stetson with a 5-5 record after defeating falling to Florida on Dec. 14.
As a team, Ohio is averaging 75.1 points and 39.1 rebounds a game, while opponents average 71.1 points and 34.0 rebounds a game. The Bobcats are also shooting .455 from the field, .351 from three and .669 from the line. Ohio also adds 14.1 assists, 6.5 steals and force 11.9 turnovers a game.

Mark Sears finished the game with 13 points, while adding seven rebounds. Jason Carter added 10 points and six rebounds. Ben Vander Plas scored seven points and grabbed a team-leading nine rebounds.
Overall, Ohio shot 36.7 percent from the field, 26.3 percent from three and were 14-of-16 from the line, while Stetson shot 31.6 percent from the field, 20.8 percent from three and 80 percent from the line. Stetson outrebounded Ohio, 37-34, and dished out nine assists to Ohio's eight. Ohio forced 14 Stetson turnovers, scoring 20 points off of them.

The Ohio men's basketball team (5-5) returned to action on Wednesday, Dec. 14 in the Victorinox Tampa Tip-Off, falling to Florida (7-4), 82-48, inside Amalie Arena.
Overall, Ohio shot 31.4 percent from the field, 21.4 percent from three and 56.5 percent from the line, while Florida shot 51.9 percent from the field, 45.5 percent from three and 76.2 percent from the line. Florida outrebounded Ohio, 39-26, while the Bobcats forced 14 turnovers and had six steals.
Individually, Ohio was led by AJ Brown with 14 points, going 5-of-7 from the field and 20of-4 from three. Dwight Wilson III added 13 points and five rebounds, while Jaylin Hunter scored nine points and dished out three assists. Elmore James also added five points for the Bobcats.
For Florida, Kowacie Reeves scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Kyle Lofton added 15 points and seven assists.
AJ BROWN MAKES A STATEMENT
Freshman guard AJ Brown showed the type of talent Ohio could see over the next four years against UC Clermont, where he scored a game-high 18 points, went 7-of-11 from the field and dished out four assists in the victory.
As AJ Brown continues to see more minutes, he continues to get more comfortable, with a stellar game on Dec. 11 at Youngstown State where he scored 16 points, while going 6-of-8 from the field.
He was also stellar off the bench against Florida, scoring a team-high 14 points in 24 minutes.
So far this season, Brown is averaging 11.0 points a game and is shooting .595 from the field.
HUNTER FINDING A GROOVE
Nine games into his Bobcat career, junior guard Jaylin Hunter started to find his groove in the Green and White.
On Dec. 11 at Youngstown State, Hunter led the Bobcats with 17 points, five rebounds, seven assists and three steals in the victory.
Hunter led Ohio against Cleveland State, scoring 17 points, grabbing four rebounds and dishing out seven assists in the victory.
As of Dec. 16, Hunter averages 9.8 points and 4.3 assists a game.
BROWN SETTING UP FOR CAREER YEAR
Senior guard Miles Brown is already on pace to set new marks in his fourth season in the Green and White.
After a solid game at Belmont, Brown was clutch against Cleveland State, scoring 14 points and going a perfect 6-of-6 from the line in the victory.
Brown was also solid against No. 20 Michigan, scoring 11 points and grabbing a season-hight nine rebounds.
He was back in action during the Bobcat battle where he averaged 16.0 points and set and matched a career-high four made threes before being named the tournament MVP.
So far on the early season, Brown averages 9.6 points and 3.2 rebounds a game, while shooting .432 from three, .439 from the field and .824 from the line.
WELCOME BACK DJ
In his return to the court after missing all of last season due to a knee injury, Dwight Wilson III put on a show.
Wilson III finished the game with a game-high 20 points, going 8-of-10 from the field and 4of-4 from the line. He also grabbed eight rebounds in 24 minutes of action.
He then put on a show at No. 20 Michigan, scoring 21 points and grabbing nine boards.
Wilson III was the hero on Dec. 11 at YSU, hitting the buzzer beater to give Ohio the victory. In that game, he scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Wilson III has continued to dominate during the early part of the season, averaging 12.6 points and 9.4 rebounds a game, while shooting .533 from the field.
BROD'S NEW ROLE
After starting every game last season, senior Ben Roderick is fitting in with his new role off the bench.
This season, Roderick averages 6.3 points, while shooting .500 from the field and .542 from three, while also recording a .833 shooting percentage from the line in just 15.5 minutes a game.
