COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio swimming and diving team wrapped up competition at the 2022 Ohio State Fall Invitational on Saturday (Nov. 19), finishing the event in eighth place with 478.50 total points.
In the 100-yard freestyle, junior
Caroline Dunigan (Lansdale, Pa.) placed 20
th overall, touching in at 50.93.
Then in the 200-yard breaststroke, junior
Ami Hornyak (Debrecen, Hungary) finished the race in sixth place, finishing with a time of 2:11.79. Freshman
Casadie DiBetta (St. Clairsville, Ohio) touched in with a time of 2:15.88 and a 23
rd-place finish.
In the 200 fly, senior
Madeline Marks (Bentonville, Ark.) finished in 33
rd place with a time of 2:01.84.
The Bobcats concluded the weekend with the 400-yard freestyle relay, where the Ohio 'A' team of senior
Emma Fortman (Madeira, Ohio), Dunigan, junior
Meg Voigt (Bryan, Ohio) and senior
McKenzie Grau (Mason, Ohio) finished 15
th with a time of 3:23.95.
Up next, the Bobcats head to Greensboro, N.C. Nov. 30-Dec. 3 for the 2022 Toyota U.S. Open.
