COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio swimming and diving team returned to action Friday (Nov 18) at the 2022 Ohio State Fall Invitational inside McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Ohio concluded day two in eighth place with 363.5 points,
Ohio opened the day with the 200-yard medley relay, where the Ohio 'A' team of freshman
Allison Schrank (Blaine, Minn), junior
Ami Hornyak (Debrecen, Hungary), junior
Gabrielle Brust (Granville, Ohio) and junior
Caroline Dunigan (Lansdale, Pa.) placed 10th overall, touching in at 1:42.16.
In the 100 fly, Brust was back in action, placing 17th overall with a time of 54.28, while in the 400-yard IM, junior
Morgan Croaning (Carmel, Ind.) laced 28th, finishing with a time of 4:26.75.
Hornyak was back in action in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing the race in 1:00.47 and a sixth-place finish. Sophomore
Julia Strine (Shippensburg, Pa.) finished 23rd, finishing in 1:02.87.
The Bobcats concluded the day with the 800-yard free relay, where the Ohio 'A' team of senior
McKenzie Grau (Mason, Ohio), freshman
Lauren Hartel (Arlington, Va.), senior
Emma Fortman (Madeira, Ohio) and freshman
Anna McGrath finished in 16th place with a time of 8:71.19.
Ohio concludes the 2022 OSU Fall Invite on Saturday, Nov. 19. The preliminary races are set to start at 9:30 a.m., with finals scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
