CEDARVILLE, Ohio—The Ohio men's and women's cross country teams competed at the All-Ohio Cross Country Championships on Friday (Sept. 17) at Cedarville University. The women ran a 6K and the men completed an 8K.

The women's team took fourth place in the D1 and overall rankings with a score of 108 points. Sophomore Sophia Hoersten (Hillard, Ohio) led the way, clocking a time of 22:30.7 and finishing fifth in D1 and eighth overall. Graduate student Hailey Bowes (Arlington Heights, Ill.) placed 12^th in D1 and 15^th overall, coming in at 22:49.0.

The men placed third in the D1 race with a total of 73 points, putting them in seventh overall. Graduate student Josh Park (Amherst, Ohio) clocked a 25:45.6 and finished ninth in D1 and 16^th overall. Graduate student Seth Gard (Eaton, Ohio) came in a second after Park with a 25:46.6, placing him in 11^th for D1 and 19^th overall.

The Bobcats will head to Louisville, Ky. where they will compete in the Lou Classic on Oct. 2.
