
Ohio Track & Field Announces 2022 Indoor/Outdoor Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio track & field program announced its 2022 indoor/outdoor schedule today (Dec. 20) by head coach Sarah Pease.Â
Â
The Bobcats kick off their indoor schedule on January 7 at the Buckeye Collegiate Open. Next, they travel to Lexington, Kentucky for the Jim Green Track & Field Invitational (Jan. 14-15). The following weekend, the team will compete at the Otterbein Invite in Westerville, Ohio and the Michigan Invitational in Ann Arbor, Michigan (Jan. 22).Â

Ohio's schedule continues in Bloomington, Indiana at the Indiana University Relays (Jan. 28) before they head to the Akron Indoor Invitational (Feb. 2-5). The following Friday (Feb. 11), the Bobcats travel to Allendale, Michigan for the GVSU Big Meet. Next, the team heads to the Kent State Collegiate Tune-Up (Feb. 19) before returning to Kent for the MAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 25-26). The Bobcats will wrap up their season at the NCAA Division I Indoor Championship (March 11-12).Â

Ohio starts their outdoor season in Oxford, Ohio for the Blizzard Buster (March 18). Next, compete in the Raleigh Relays (March 24-26) before travelling to Cincinnati, Ohio for the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational (April 1-2).Â

The Bobcats will host the Cherry Blossom Invitational on Saturday, April 16 before traveling to Columbus, Ohio for the Jesse Owens Invitational (April 22-23). The following weekend, Ohio heads to Nashville, Tennessee to compete in the Outdoor Music City Challenge (April 29-30) before returning to Oxford, Ohio for the Redhawk Invite (May 7).Â

The MAC Outdoor Championships are set for May 12-14 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. NCAA East Preliminary Rounds will be from May 25-28 and the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships will be June 8-11 in Eugene, Oregon.Â
