ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio football team (3-7, 3-3 MAC) is back for another week of MACtion this Tuesday, Nov. 16 when the Bobcats return to Athens to take on Toledo (2-3 5-4 MAC). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Peden Stadium. The game can be seen on ESPN+ with Michael Reghi and Je'Rod Cherry on the call.
The Bobcats' matchup can also be heard on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield. Russ Eisenstein returns for his 14th season as the "Voice of the Bobcats" and will be joined by Ohio alum Rob Cornelius, who has been a part of the broadcasts for two decades.
SERIES HISTORY VS. TOLEDO
This is the 53rd all-time meeting between the Bobcats and Toledo, with Ohio behind in the all-time series, 21-31-1.
Ohio and Toledo last met Nov. 8, 2017, as the Bobcats pulled out a 38-10 victory at home.

Ohio outgained Toledo, 532-316. Nathan Rourke finished the contest with 139 passing yards with 7 completions on 15 attempts, and threw for one touchdown. Dorian Brow rushed for 142 total yards on 17 attempts, and Bradd Ellis added a 46-yard interception return for a defensive touchdown.
Toledo quarterback Logan Woodside completed 24 of 35 passes for 263 yards and a touchdown while running back Shakif Seymour led the way with 77 rushing yards on 11 attempts. Olasunkanmi Adeniyi led the way defensively for Toledo, finishing with 10 total tackles and one forced fumble.
SCOUTING TOLEDO
Toledo comes to Athens with a 5-5 overall record and a 3-3 mark in MAC play after defeating Bowling Green, 49-17 last Wednesday.
The Toledo offense averages 422.8 total yards per game, with an average of 178.3 yards coming on the ground and 244.5 yards coming from the passing game. Meanwhile, their Rockets defense hold opponents to 330.1 yards per game, 187.3 passing yards and 142.8 rushing yards per game.
Individually, quarterback Dequan Finn has played in 10 games and is 100-for-171 with 11 touchdowns, 1448 yards and one interception.
In the ground, Bryant Koback registered 936 yards on 154 carries and nine touchdowns, while Finn has scored eight rushing touchdowns and has rushed for 381 yards.
Devin Maddon leads the receiving game, scoring three touchdowns on 33 completions and 502 yards.
LAST TIME OUT
The Ohio Bobcats (3-7, 3-3) beat Eastern Michigan (3-3, 6-4) on Tuesday night (Nov. 9) by a score of 35-33. The Bobcats were led offensively by Kurtis Rourke, who threw for 230 yards and threw three touchdowns; while on the defensive side of the ball, John Gregory led the effort with a career-high eight total tackles, including four solo tackles.
SCOUTING OHIO
Ohio is 3-7 overall and 3-3 in the MAC after defeating Eastern Michigan last Tuesday.
Overall, the Bobcats are averaging 23.8 points per game to go along with 378.9 total yards per game.
De'Montre Tuggle leads the ground game with 608 yards, while averaging 76.0 yards per game, with seven touchdowns on the ground. O'Shaan Allison adds 267 yards on the ground, while Armani Rogers adds 522 yards on 82 carries and six touchdowns.
Quarterback Kurtis Rourke is 136-of-300 with 1,465 yards, 10 touchdowns and four interceptions. Meanwhile, quarterback Armani Rogers is 29-of-49 with 350 yards.
Tyler Walton leads the receivers with 29 catches for 356 yards and two touchdowns.
AN NCAA RECORD THAT MIGHT NEVER BE BROKEN
On Oct. 16 at Buffalo, quarterback Armani Rogers, on the first play of Ohio's second drive, took the ball to his left, sprinting 99 yards for the touchdown. The run set a new NCAA record for the longest run by a quarterback. The mark was previously held by Mark Malone who ran for a 98-yard touchdown in 1979.
ROURKE COMING INTO HIS OWN
Kurtis Rourke was solid against Miami, going 23-of-32 for 288 yards and three touchdowns.
Rourke came back the following week and was just as solid, throwing for three touchdowns in Ohio's win against EMU.
This season, Rourke is 135-199 for 1,465 years, 10 touchdowns and four interceptions.
ROURKE RETURNS vs. KENT STATE
Quarterback Kurtis Rourke led Ohio against Kent State on Saturday, Oct. 23.
Rourke led the Bobcats against Kent State. After entering the game in the first quarter, Rourke set career highs by completing 31-of-38 passes, good for an 81 percent completion rating. He also passed for a career-high 308 yards. On the ground, Rourke rushed for 49 yards on seven carries, scoring two of the Bobcats' three touchdowns.
MAC MALE SCHOLAR ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
After his performance against Kent State, Kurtis Rourke was named the MAC Mal Scholar Athlete of the week on Oct. 27.
ROGERS STEPS UP AGAINST CMU
Quarterback Armani Rogers earned his first start of the season on Saturday against CMU and made the most out of it.
Rogers went 13-of-18 for 190 yards. He also ran for 37 yards on 15 carries, scoring one touchdown.
TUGGLE ON THE GROUND
De'Montre Tuggle continues to lead Ohio on the ground this season.
With 116 carries, Tuggle has 699 yards and seven touchdowns.
AWARDS FOR DE'MONTRE
Running back De'Montre Tuggle had a great week in the awards category for his play on Oct. 2 at Akron. He was named the MAC East Offensive Player of the Week and Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week Honorable Mention
Tuggle led Ohio offensively this weekend, helping the Bobcats open MAC play with a 34-17 victory at Akron - the first for first year head coach Tim Albin. Tuggle, a redshirt fifth year from Channelview, Texas, finished the game with a career-high 201 yards on 17 carries and one touchdown. Tuggle rushed for an average of 11.8 yards per carry and rattled off a 63-yard rush on the Bobcats' second drive of the game.
He again earned a number of national awards Nov. 9 and 10 for his play against Miami. Tuggle was once again named Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week Honorable Mention. He also added Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll
MAC EAST DEFENSIVE POW
Defensive end Will Evans was named the MAC East DPOW on Oct. 4.
Evans led Ohio on the defensive end. The redshirt fifth year from Augusta, Ga., finished the game with six total tackles, all solo. He also finished the game with two sacks for 11 yards and two tackles for loss. Evans also registered one pass breakup and forced one fumble in the win.
MAC EAST SPECIAL TEAMS POW
Punter Jonah Wieland was named the Mid-American Conference East Special Teams Player of the Week on Sept. 20.
The redshirt 5th year transfer led Ohio on special teams on Thursday (Sept. 16) at Louisiana. Wieland recorded four punts 165 yards for an average of 41.2 yards per punt, while recording a long punt of 46 yards, while placing two punts within the 20.
MONSTER DAY FOR TUG
Running back De'Montre Tuggle registered a career day on the ground for the Bobcats against Akron.
Tuggle ran for a career-high 201 yards on only 17 carries and scored one touchdown in the 35-17 victory.
HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM
Redshirt junior linebacker Bryce Houston has taken advantage of his first season starting.
Houston leads Ohio in total tackles with 90, while registering 43 assisted, 47 solo tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks and one quarterback hurry.
Houston set a career-high mark at Buffalo, recording 15 tackles, including 11 solo and four assisted.
ALVINNNNNNN
Redshirt senior Alvin Floyd is helping lead the Bobcats on the defensive end as well.
He is third on the team with 55 total tackles, 27 assisted and 28 solo. He also has one forced fumble, one pass break up and has one interception.
Floyd set a career-high with 12 tackles against Eastern Michigan on Nov. 9.
MAN THE CANNONS
Redshirt sophomore linebacker Cannon Blauser has made the most out of moving into a starting role. On the season, Blauser has 72 tackles, 32 solo and 40 assisted - with five tackles for loss, two sacks, five quarterback hurries and one fumble recovery.
On Sept. 25 at Northwestern, Blauser led Ohio with seven total tackles and six solo, with a tackle for loss, quarterback hurry and his first fumble recovery of the season.
At Akron on Oct. 2, Blauser added two sacks.
On Oct. 23 against Kent State, Blauser set a career mark with 14 tackles, with six solo and eight assisted and 1.5 tackles for loss.
EVANS IS SUPER
Redshirt fifth year defensive tackle Will Evans is making the most out of his final year.
So far Evans has 29 tackles, but leads the team with 5.5 tackles for loss for 30 yards, 4.5 sacks for 28 yards, while also recording two pass breakups, three quarterback hurries and one forced fumble.
DRAKE WITH THE PICK
Redshirt senior safety Tariq Drake had a career day against CMU, snagging two interceptions for 23 return yards.
Drake recorded his third INT of the season at EMU on Nov. 9, helping Ohio to the 34-26 victory.
On the season, Drake has 39 tackles, 17 solo and 22 assisted, one QB hurry, two pass breakups and 1.5 tackle for to go with those three INTs.

The Bobcats wrap up the 2021 season on Friday, Nov. 26 when they head to Bowling Green, Ohio for a Black Friday matchup with the Falcons. Kickoff is set for Noon ET on ESPNU or CBSSN.
