Prior to Ohio: Had 81 tackles, seven sacks and two interceptions as a senior at Olentangy Orange High School. Named All-Metro and All-OCC Defensive Player of the Year while being named All-State, All-District and All Super 25 Team following leading his team to a 9-2 record his senior year. Also named All-State, All-OCC, All-District and Super 25 Team as a junior. Also earned All-State honors as a wrestler in 2016 while placing at the state meet. Racked up 215 tackles, 151 solo, with 10 sacks and two career interceptions during his high school campaign while also serving as a team captain for last two seasons.
