Final Results
DAYTON, Ohio -- The Ohio women's golf team finished their fall season this week (Oct. 18-19), as they competed in the Dayton Flyer Invitational. As a team, the Bobcats finished in 11th place. The team finished the two round event with a team score of 631, good for +71 overall. Ohio was led individually by
Mariana Vega-Rivera, who finished T-17 with a score of +12.
The first round of action ended with Ohio shooting a 324 (+44) as a team. Vega-Rivera shot a 78 (+8) on the day and sat in a tie for 32nd place. The second round saw Ohio improve by 17 shots, as the team finished with a 307 team score, good for just +27 on the day. Vega-Rivera once again was the individual leader for the Bobcats, as she improved on her Round 1, carding a 74 (+4) on the second 18. Her improvement moved her up to her finishing place of tied for 17th.
The Bobcats will now turn their attention and preparation to the spring schedule. Updates for events the Bobcats will be participating in will be posted at a later date.
