Ohio Field Hockey Comes Up Short Against Drexel

Philadelphia, Pa. –  The Bobcats fall short at Drexel losing the match with a score of 5-1.

The Bobcats gave up one goal in the first half but matched the score with a goal of their own in the first five minutes of the second half. The Dragons would respond with four goals before the game ended.

Ohio had one goal by sophomore defender Leah Warren (Hamilton, New Zealand) assisted by senior forward Emma Eggleston (Houston, Texas). Drexel would see five goals from five different Dragon athletes.

Senior goalkeeper Alex Pennington (Easton, Pa.) made three saves.

Ohio Field Hockey will stay on the road for their next match up. The Bobcats will meet up with Ball State on Friday (Oct. 5) at 3 p.m. EST in Muncie, Indiana.
