QUOTABLE
Third-year head coach Deane Webb on the match
"It was a good match overall, particularly offensively. We played well. I think at times we didn't line up the block the way that we needed to, but a lot of good things happened today. Jaime and Ali both played at a high level. We're seeing those two emerge and probably go to a different level. It's exciting. They're just becoming go-to, dominant players. That's probably my biggest takeaway from this weekend. I think we missed a real opportunity at the end of the second set. We were up, then passed five balls in a row out of system. If we pass a couple of those in system, then we're probably going to get a kill. That's probably my regret."
Junior outside hitter Jaime Kosiorek on raising her game to match that of Texas-San Antonio junior outside hitter Marijeta Runjic and senior outside hitter Dajana Boskovic
"I'm wired that way. I like to kind of have a little competition with the people across the net. They're completely different players. They're a lot more phyiscal than I am, but I like to make it a challenge and help my team the best way I can."
Sophomore setter/outside hitter Stephanie Olman on the team's performance
"I thought we started out really strong and then had some ups and downs throughout the middle of the game and toward the end, but I'm happy with our performance. I think we're going on an uphill motion. There's a lot of things we can work on, but, overall, I'm happy with how much we've improved from the beginning of the season."
