Ohio Volleyball Adds Bellarmine Transfer, Lillie Meinhart, to Roster

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio volleyball team has added transfer Lillie Meinhart to its roster for the 2026 season, as announced by head coach Kenzie Brinkman on Wednesday, Jan. 21. Meinhart is currently a freshman and played the 2025 season at Bellarmine.

Meinhart joins the Bobcats after playing one season at Bellarmine. During the 2025 season, she appeared in 92 sets across 26 matches. The freshman compiled 116 kills (1.26), 71 assists (0.77), 70 digs (0.76), 40.0 blocks (0.43) and 136.5 points (1.48). Meinhart recorded a season-high 11 kills, 13 points and four total blocks against Lipscomb (Nov. 1).  She tallied a season-high 33 assists against Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 26). Meinhart also recorded a season-high 12 digs against Ohio's MAC opponent Toledo (Sept. 19).
 
Prior to college, Meinhart attended and played volleyball at Providence Christian Academy. In high school, she reached the 2,000 assists milestone and received several accolades. Meinhart was previously named an All-State, All-Region, All-District and All-Tournament honoree. In 2024, Meinhart helped her high school team to a state championship title.
 
Meinhart is the daughter of Mark and Kasey Meinhart and has one brother, Miles. Both her parents, Mark and Kasey, played sports at Olivet Nazarene University. Her father played baseball while her mother played basketball. Her uncle, Stuart, played baseball at MTSU. Her grandfather, Mark, played football at Trinity University. Her grandfather, Mike, ran track at Iowa.
