QUOTABLE
Webb on the loss
"All credit to Miami. They played a great match, as they have all year. They're in the midst of having a great season, and they continued that tonight. As for us, I was surprised that we came out tight tonight. The pressure was not on us tonight. We could neither improve nor lower our seed. It was an opportunity to play a good team and see where we are; maybe a sneak preview of two weeks from now. So, I was a little surprised that we came out tight, and that's my fault. Ultimately, I need to have them in the right place mentally and emotionally, and we weren't tonight. I need to do a better job of that."

Coleman on the loss
"I think playing a good team, there should be some adrenaline and some motivation to play well. We didn't come out and start very well tonight, and I think that's what caused it. We need to be mentally stronger, especially going into the season and into the MAC tournament. That's what they beat us on tonight. We made errors, and, at the same, they were mentally stronger than we were."

UP NEXT
The Bobcats look to bounce back on Saturday (Nov. 5) when they play host to MAC East Division rival Bowling Green (18-8, 8-5 MAC) in a Senior Day showdown. The regular season home finale is set to get underway at 7 p.m. ET. The Bobcats will honor the careers of Coleman and Salis prior to the match. The contest will be streamed live on WatchESPN and the ESPN app.

The Falcons picked up a 3-1 (25-21, 25-11, 20-25, 25-20) win over MAC East Division rival Kent State on Friday at the M.A.C. Center in Kent, Ohio.
