QUOTABLE
Second-year head coach Saul Phillips on the loss
"We got off to such a strong start. The ball was moving, we were scoring off the pass. A couple stats jump off the stat sheet for me: 27 field goals, but we had only eight of them assisted, and that's usually Jaaron's average alone. That's not nearly enough. On the offensive glass, we got pummeled. We got crushed. That hasn't happened very often to us. I thought they made more hustle plays in the second half against us at a time when we should have been fresh. Heck, we didn't many guys play a whole lot of minutes in the first half."
Freshman guard Jordan Dartis on conference play
"It's a war. Every game you go into, it's a battle. Everyone wants to win the MAC as much as any other team in the MAC, so I'm just getting used to that. We've just got to be tougher, play harder."
