CINCINNATI, Ohio. - The Ohio men's golf team finished day one of the Cobra Puma Invitational (hosted by Xavier) in fourth place on Monday afternoon. The Bobcats finished the first two rounds with a team score of 587 (+19).
Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky and Xavier include the teams ahead of Ohio after day one.
Sophomore Ty Herriott paced Ohio, finishing round one with a 73, and round two with a 70 for a two-round score of 143 (+1) to tie for seventh place.
Sophomore Peyton White tied for 13th, shooting a 71 in round one and a 76 in round two for a total score of 147 (+5).
Thomas Leech shot a 75 and 74 in rounds one and two of play with a total score of 149 for the day.
Michael Engelman would finish day one with a total score of 150 having shot an 80 and a 70 in each round respectively.
Grant Engel earned a 79 and 75 in rounds one and two finishing with a 154 on the day.
The third and final round will begin tomorrow at 9 a.m.
