CINCINNATI, Ohio. - The Ohio men's golf team finished the second day of the Cobra Puma Invitational (hosted by Xavier) in fourth place on Tuesday afternoon. The Bobcats finished the first two rounds on Monday with a team score of 587 (+19) and added a third round score of 303 to finish with an 890 (+38) tournament score.
Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky and Xavier include the teams that finished ahead of Ohio to conclude the tournament.
Sophomore Peyton White tied for 11th, shooting a 72 in the third round for a tournament score of 219 (+6).
Sophomore Ty Herriott shot a 77 in the final round to claim 14th in the tournament having earned a 220 (+7).
Michael Engelman tied for 21st after shooting a 76 in the final round giving him a 226 (+13) tournament score.
Thomas Leech finished close behind tied for 23rd with a 78 third round score and a 227 (+14) for the tournament.
Grant Engel finished the tournament tied for 34th after shooting a 78 in the final round and earning a 232 (+19) on the tournament.
Up next for Ohio will be Mid American Conference Championships in Akron, Ohio May 1-3.
