THE BASICS
• The Ohio volleyball team (17-4, 10-0 MAC) asserted itself as the Mid-American Conference's top squad thus far during the 2014 season, sweeping by West Division leader Northern Illinois (16-8, 9-1 MAC), 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-17) in a battle of unbeatens on Saturday (Oct. 25) at the Convocation Center. 
• The Bobcats rolled to their 11th straight win and have won 16 of their last 17 matches. Ohio starts MAC play with a 10-0 mark for the first time since going a perfect 16-0 in league play in 2006.
• Ohio tallied a .268 attack percentage while limiting the Huskies to a .167 clip. 
• Senior outside hitter Kelly Lamberi (Cary, Ill.) reached double figures for the 19th time in the last 21 matches, leading the match with 12 kills. She also added three assisted blocks, two service aces and eight digs.
• Junior middle blocker Karin Bull (Bloomington, Minn.) chipped in eight kills to go along with a match-high four assisted blocks and a dig.
• Freshman outside hitter Jaime Kosiorek (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) chipped in seven kills, two service aces and five digs.
• Junior setter Abby Gilleland (Bull Valley, Ill.) distributed a match-high 32 assists in addition to six kills, a service ace 2.0 total blocks (one solo, one assisted) and three digs.
• Junior libero Meredith Ashy (Louisville, Ky.) led the match on the defensive end with 15 digs while sophomore setter/defensive specialist Brooke Coleman (Plano, Texas) added 10 more. Ashy also led the match with three service aces.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
• Ohio has won at least 10 MAC matches in a school-record 13 straight seasons.
