Athens, Ohio - The Ohio University women's golf team completed two rounds of play yesterday at the University of Cincinnati Spring Invitational held at the Plantation Inn Golf Course in Crystal River, Florida.
Erin Cahill (Hilliard, Ohio) earned the top score for the Bobcats after shooting a +13 over two rounds. She currently sits in a tie for 32nd overall. Lauren Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) (+19), Jordan Fesh (Toledo, Ohio) (+20) and Meryl Weaver (Canton, Ohio) (+21) round out the scoring quartet for the 'Cats.
Illinois leads the field at +16, Stetson is in second place, six shots back and Montana sits third at +25. Florida Southern and Florida Gulf Coast round out the top five.
Individually, Alex Burlow of Stetson was one of two golfers to shoot under par on the day, finishing at -3. Hailey Koschmann of Illinois is two strokes behind her at -1. Lauren Howell of Montana and Kaitlyn Wampler are both six shots back and Samantha Sloan of Illinois and Ashli Nelstrom of Montana are tied for fifth.
