CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - The Ohio University women's golf team fired a team total of 332 in the final round of the Cincinnati Spring Invitational on Saturday to finish the two-day event in 15th place with a score of 985 (+121).
Sophomore Erin Cahill (Hilliard, Ohio) finished with Ohio's best total of the tournament, carding an 84 in Saturday's third round to post a three-day tally of 246 (+30) and earn a share of 54th place. Junior Lauren Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) recorded her second-straight round of 80 on the final day of play to finish in a tie for 57th with a total of 248 (+32), while classmate Colleen Lienesch (Centerville, Ohio) and senior Lindsay Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) both tied for 60th place with totals of 249 (+33) after carding rounds of 85 and 83, respectively, on Saturday. Sophomore Jordan Fesh rounded out the Ohio lineup in a tie for 69th place with a third-round 87 and a three-day total of 252 (+36).
Playing as an individual, junior Megan Curran (Dublin, Ohio) carded a final-round 82 on Saturday to finish the day in a tie for 77th place with a total of 255 (+39).
The Bobcats will return to action next weekend, when they head to Peoria, Ill., for the Bradley Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
