Final results
Senior Lindsay Bergman fired a career-best 75 (+3) on Tuesday in the final round of the Lady Herd Fall Classic to earn her second-consecutive top-10 finish and lead the Ohio University women’s golf team to a sixth-place finish with a team total of 636 (+60).
Lindsay Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) finished in an eighth-place tie, the best showing of her career, with a total of 156 (+12) on the strength of her personal-best 75 on Tuesday. The effort marked her second-straight top-10 finish, adding on to the tie for 10th she earned at last week’s Zippy Invitational. Her 36-hole total was also just one stroke shy of equaling the best of her collegiate career.
Junior Lauren Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) used a final-round 78 (+6) to finish with a total of 157 (+13) and grab a share of 10th place, marking the first top-10 showing of her career. Sophomore Jordan Fesh (Toledo, Ohio) finished in a tie for 18th place with a total of 159 (+15) after shooting a final-round 82 (+10) on Tuesday, earning her second-straight top-20 finish after a 19th-place showing at the Zippy Invitational.
Sophomore Erin Cahill (Hilliard, Ohio) capped the tournament with an 85 (+13) on Tuesday to finish in a 31st-place tie with a total of 164 (+20), while junior Megan Curran rounded out the Bobcat lineup in 57th place with a total of 179 (+35).
The Lady Herd Fall Classic marked the end of Ohio’s fall schedule. The Bobcats’ spring slate will be announced at a later date.
