ATHENS, Ohio - Wednesday's non-conference Ohio baseball game at Marshall, scheduled for a 3 p.m. start, has been cancelled due to forecasted rain in the area and will not be made up.
The Bobcats and Thundering Herd are scheduled to meet two more times in the 2007 season, with the first meeting April 4 at Bob Wren Stadium in Athens. Ohio will also play host to Marshall on April 25.
Ohio will return to action this Friday through Sunday, when the Bobcats host their first Mid-American Conference series of the season against Toledo. The series begins Friday with a 6 p.m. first pitch between the Bobcats and Rockets in Bob Wren Stadium.
