First Half:

-          Michael Allen received his first start in an Ohio uniform.

-          Allen Hester made his first appearance as a Bobcat.

-          The Bobcats had turned the ball over six times in the first six minutes of the game ... Two of those turnovers came on offensive fouls by Williams.

-          Ohio went from 18:42 to 15:15 between their second and third scores.

-          Ricky Cadell netted each of St. Francis' first six points in the contest.

-          SFC took their first lead of the game at 12:56 on a three by Kayode Ayeni.

-          Ohio went on a 17-4 run from 10:57 to 3:17 to take its largest lead of the game at that point, 31-20.

-          Neither team made a field goal the last 2:10 of the half.

 

At the Half: Ohio 33, St. Francis, N.Y. 25

-          Kenneth van Kempen led Ohio with a season-high eight points in the half ... SFC's Cadell led all scorers with 10.

-          Ohio was 11-of-21 (52.4%) from the field while SFC was just 8-of-27 (29.6%).

-          Ohio committed 11 turnovers compared to SFC's nine.

-          Ohio had a 14-8 advantage in points in the paint and an 8-2 advantage in second-chance points.

 

Second Half:

-          Dating back to the first half, SFC went on a 19-4 run to take a 41-37 lead a 14:31 ... It was SFC's first lead since 11:12 in the first half.

-          A shot in the paint at 13:31 gave Van Kempen his third career double-figure scoring outing.

-          Robert Hines had nine of SFC's first 18 points in the half.

-          Ohio went on a 9-2 run from 11:44 to 8:32 to regain the lead at 52-47.

-          From 5:27 to 3:05, Bubba Walther scored eight-straight points for Ohio .

 

Final: Ohio 67, St. Francis, N.Y. 63

-          Williams and van Kempen led the Bobcats with 14 points apiece ... Van Kempen's total was one shy of tying a career-high.

-          SFC's Cadell led all scorers with 19 points ... His previous career-high scoring output was nine points.

-          Ohio finished the game 25-of-50 from the field while SFC went 23-61 (37.7%).

-          SFC was just 6-of-29 (20.7%) from behind the three-point line and 11-of-19 (58%) from the free throw line.

-          This was the first-ever meeting between Ohio and St. Francis (NY).

-          Ohio's win snapped a streak of seven-consecutive non-conference road losses ... The Bobcats' last such win came at Marist on Dec. 6, 2005.

-          Leon Williams needs just two points to pass Don Hilt for 18th place on Ohio 's all-time scoring list and three rebounds to pass Craig Love for seventh on the program rebound list.
