    ATHENS, Ohio ? Antwon McCray scored on a pair of touchdowns runs in the final 7:27 to lift 23rd-ranked Toledo to a 48-41 come-from-behind victory over Ohio in Mid-American Conference action Saturday night. The Bobcats trailed 34-17 early in the second half before tallying 24 straight points to lead 41-34.

    Rocket quarterback completed 31 of 39 passes for 374 yards and two touchdowns. Doak Walker Award candidate Chester Taylor, was limited to 50 yards on 13 carries before suffering a mild ankle sprain. McCray, his replacement, totaled 76 yards and three scores on 23 attempts.

    Chad Brinker led the Bobcats' rushing attack with 73 yards on 11 carries, while Jamel Patterson scored a pair of touchdowns. Dontrell Jackson completed 11 of 17 passes for 107 yards, his second century passing game of the season.

    Ohio fell behind 10-0 in the first quarter on a field goal by Todd France and a seven-yard run by Taylor.

    The Bobcats answered with back-to-back touchdowns to take a 14-10 lead. Patterson put Ohio on the borad with a seven-yard run 24 seconds into the second quarter. Three plays after the kickoff, Art Adams stripped the ball from Bolden and Joe Sellers scooped up the loose ball and ran eight yards into the endzone.

    Toledo responded, though, tallying three straight touchdowns in a span of six-and-a-half minutes to moved ahead 31-17 just before halftime. Bolden through a pair of TD passes before McCray posted his first score. The Bobcats gained a little momentum before intermission when Kevin Kerr booted a 55-yard field goal - tying his career-long and the third longest in school history - with one second on the clock.

    The Rockets got a field goal on their first possession of the second half, before Ohio made its charge.

    The Bobcats scored on their next four possessions - touchdowns from Patteson, Brinker and Joe Sherrill and another Kerr field goal - to move ahead 41-34. But Toledo took the kickoff and marched 74 yards on eight plays to even the game at 41. After holding the Bobcats to just three plays and a punt, the Rockets went 66 over 12 plays for the winning tally.
