Emma Hoffner

Was named graduate assistant for Ohio softball in August of 2025 after playing four seasons for the Bobcats. 

In 2025, Hoffner started in all 56 games for the Bobcats and hit .286 with 50 hits in 175 at-bats. She tallied a team-leading 48 RBI with 12 doubles, three triples and four home runs and Recorded a .989 fielding percentage. She was also named Academic All-MAC. In 2024 she started all 55 games in the season.. Sje Finished with a .325 hit percentage with team high hits (52) and  doubles (12), one triple and five home runs and scored 32 runs and tallied 30 RBI and drew 20 walks. She scored three runs against Miami (Mar. 22) and Recorded four RBI against Akron (Apr. 30). She was named NFCA All-Mideast Region Third Team, named Academic All-MAC and named Academic All-District.  

Prior to Ohio, Hoffner played for Hempfield Area High School where she is a four-time varsity letter winner in softball and basketball. She also played four years for Nitro Fastpitch and six years for the Outlaws under Jimmy Hoffner and Scotty Miller. She was name a PIAA All-State catcher following her freshman year. In 2018, Hoffner was a part of a Hempfield Area High School team that was crowned WPIAL and State PIAA Champions, and a 2019 squad that earned back-to-back WPIAL Championships.
