
Ohio Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio soccer team has released its 2026 schedule, head coach Aaron Rodgers announced today (June 12). The 19-game schedule includes two scrimmages, 11 home games, nine road games, and matchups with ACC and Big Ten opponents.
The preseason begins on the road Wednesday, Aug. 5 when Ohio heads to Cincinnati, Ohio for a matchup with Xavier. Ohio then returns to Athens for their final tune-up before the start of the regular season on Saturday, Aug. 8 when Ohio takes on Morehead State at 4 p.m. ET.
The 2026 regular season begins on Wednesday, Aug. 12 when the Bobcats host UIC at 4 p.m. at Chessa Field. Ohio will head to Huntington, W. Va. to close out the first week of play on Sunday, Aug. 16 when they take on Marshall at 5 p.m. ET.
After a stop at Northern Kentucky on Sunday, Aug. 23, the Bobcats are back in Athens on Sunday, Aug. 30 when Ohio hosts Mercyhurst at 1 p.m. ET.
The Bobcats open September with back-to-back home matches starting on Thursday, Sept. 3 against ACC opponent Pitt at 4 p.m. ET at Chessa Field. Ohio then closes the week out on Sunday, Sept. 6 against Big Ten foe Indiana at 1 p.m. ET.
Ohio heads to Pittsburgh, Pa. on Sunday, Sept. 13 to take on Duquesne before returning to Athens to open MAC play at home. The homestand begins on Thursday, Sept. 17 against defending MAC Champion Western Michigan at 4 p.m.ET, before the Bobcats host UMass during Alumni Weekend on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 12 p.m. ET.
Ohio wraps up the month of September on the road when they head to Akron to take on the Zips on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. ET. Ohio then opens October in Athens on Thursday, Oct. 1 with the Bobcats hosting Central Michigan at 4 p.m. ET.
The Bobcats head to Buffalo, N.Y. on Sunday, Oct. 4 to take on the Bulls, before returning to Athens on Sunday, Oct. 11 to host Kent State at 1 p.m. ET. Ohio will then head to Oxford, Ohio on Thursday, Oct. 15 for the 'Battle of the Bricks' when they take on Miami.
Ohio continues alternating home and away matches on Sunday, Oct. 18 when the Bobcats host Eastern Michigan at Chessa Field at 1 p.m. ET., before hitting the road once again on Sunday, Oct. 25 when they head to Muncie, Ind. to take on Ball State.
The Bobcats take on Toledo on Thursday, Oct. 29 for the final home match of the season at 3 p.m. ET, before concluding the 2026 regular season on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. at Bowling Green.
The 2026 Mid-American Conference Tournament will take place Nov. 7-13 in Columbus, Ohio at Historic Crew Stadium.
