Ashley Owsiany

Ashley Owsiany is a graduate student in the school counseling master’s program. Owsiany assists in the athletics department, specifically with the football team. Her responsibilities include implementing time management and organizational skills so student-athletes can thrive in their studies, coordinating structured study halls, and other miscellaneous tasks to aid Academic Coordinator Emily Tabeek and the athletics department.

Owsiany earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Marietta College (Fall 2022). Upon graduating from college, Owsiany worked at IDEA House, a school for students with disabilities, where she found her calling to become a school counselor. Originally from Canal Fulton, Ohio, she is passionate about family, friends, reading, and running. Fun fact: Owsiany has run a marathon (26.2 miles) and plans to run the Athens Marathon this Spring, 2025. Her favorite sports memory is leading her high school soccer team to district finals by scoring the game-winning goal in their tournament.
