Sam DeJoseph

After spendng several years with the program, Sam DeJoseph was named an assistant coach in January 2025.

DeJoseph served as graduate assistant during Brinkman's first season at the helm of the Ohio volleyball program. During the 2025 season, DeJoseph helped the Bobcats to a 14-17 overall, 12-6 conference record and No. 3 seed in the MAC Tournament. DeJoseph coached two First Team All-MAC honorees including the 2025 MAC Freshman of the Year, Bailey Blair. As a graduate assistant, DeJoseph developed and implemented offensive systems that elevated team performance to second in the MAC for hitting percentage, assists per set and kills per set throughout conference play.
 
DeJoseph started working with the Ohio volleyball program as a practice player in 2023. He was elevated to head student manager in 2024. DeJoseph played for the Ohio men's club volleyball team and served as vice president.
 
DeJoseph graduated in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business Analytics from Ohio University.
