Prior to Ohio: Malham played for Tennessee, Harpeth and Bentwood club teams under coaches Stuart Brown, Kyle Roelke and Amanda Martin, along with Franklin Road Academy under coaches Ken McDonald and Chris Price. Malham was a three-time State Champion (2014-2016), as well as a Regional Premier League Central Champion (2014). Malham had a career goals against average in high school of 1.27 (92 games over four years), and tallied 37 shutouts.
