Biography
2022: Berg appeared in 18 games for the Bobcats, starting in 16 of them. A key contributor to the Bobcats' success, she scored eight goals and added five assists. On the road at Eastern Michigan, Berg tallied a hat-trick including an 88th minute winner. She added one more game winning goal against Toledo. She received numerous accolades for her performances on the field and in the classroom including All-MAC First Team, CSC Academic All-District Team, and Academic All-MAC Team.
2021: Played in 13 games for Ohio, starting in four of them... Totaled two goals, three assists, and 17 shots with seven shots on goal... Shot on goal percentage is at .412
2020*: Did not play.
Prior to Ohio: Played one season at Rutgers (2019), where she saw action in eight games and recorded one assist. Prior to Rutgers, Four-year varsity letter winner at Ostego High School…two-time Michigan All-State First Team and conference MVP (2016, 2017)…also a member of her high school's track and field and basketball teams…two-time Michigan All-State honoree, placing first in the 300-meter hurdles in 2016 and finishing fourth in 2017…all-conference and honorable selection in basketball (2016-18)…called up to the ODP National Training Camp (2015, 2016)…guided Midwest United to becoming National Champions at the USYSA in 2016, followed by a runner-up finish in 2017…participates in S.A.A.D., which stands for Students Against Destructive Decisions…joined Purple Community, a fundraiser for cancer research…in the honor roll student and National Honor Society member.
Personal: Daughter of Cheryl and Jeff Berg…has a sister, Paige…grandfather was a member of the Detroit Tigers organization…father is a baseball scout for the Chicago Cubs…cousin is a pitcher at the University of Michigan.
