2016-17: McGee finished the 2016-17 season with an overall record of 13-14 and a 4-4 dual meet record, recording six falls for the year. He placed fourth at the Bearcat Open and eighth at the MAC Tournament.

Prior to Ohio: Accumulated 12 varsity letters in wrestling, track and football while captaining each his senior year at Brandon High School...Was a two time state champion in 2014 and 2015…Recorded most wins in one season (68)…Recorded most career wins (242)…His sophomore and junior year wrestling teams were named state champions
