2017-18: Opened the season at the Kentucky Bluegrass Invitational and recorded a 5K time of 18:32.2… Recorded a season-best 6K time at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invite clocking in at 21:57.5… Competed at the MAC Championships and finished with a time of 22:13.1… Ended the season at the NCAA Division I Great Lakes Region Cross Country Championships and recorded a time of 22:33.0… Named to the 2017 Women’s Academic All-MAC team.
2016-17: Started her sophomore season at the Dayton Flyer 5K with a fourth-place finish and a time of 18:30.2… Placed third in the Virginia Tech Alumni Invite 6K with a final time of 21:36.3… Finished 26th at the MAC Championships with a time of 22:09.1 and went on to place in the top 65 at the NCAA Division I Great Lakes Region Cross Country Championships with a time of 21:30.8.
Personal: Daughter of Eric and Ivy Atkinson… Has two sisters, Brittany and Felicia… She enjoys cooking, playing basketball, and doing arts and crafts… Majoring in Engineering… Lettered in Indoor Track, Outdoor Track, Cross Country, and Basketball at Granville High School… Honor Roll all four years.
