Biography

2024: Played in all 14 games… Rushed for 84 yards and one touchdown… Returned five kicks for 81 yards…Tallied first career touchdown against Central Michigan (Oct. 12)...Rushed for a career high 33 yards on six attempts against Kentucky (Sept. 21). 

Prior to Ohio: Brune made his way across the pond to Athens from Cologne, Germany... Played football for the Cologne Crocodiles, an under-19 American football team in the Junior German Football League... Led the Crocodiles to the U19 German National Championship while averaging more than 12 yards per carry and 200 yards per game... Off the football field, Brune runs track and trains with the German national bobsledding team in the offseason... Has a career-best of 10.85 in the 100-meter dash. 

Personal: Mother, Simone, is a former four-time German Olympian swimmer... Fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers... Favorite athletes are Christian McCaffrey and Reggie Bush.
