Prior to Ohio: Played for Taft High School's football team for four years, earning three varsity letters... Logged 87 tackles, including 24 for a loss, and 11.5 sacks as a senior... During his junior campaign, recorded 57 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks... Finished his sophomore season with 24 total tackles, two tackles for loss and two sacks... Named the Division Four Player of the Year... Two-time All-State honoree... Two-Time All-Conference.
