Ryan Bainbridge enters his sixth season at Ohio as a member of the OU football staff and second with the title of Director of Recruiting & Player Personnel in 2022.

Over the last five years serving as Ohio's Director of Player Personnel & High School Relations, Bainbridge has overseen all on-campus recruiting activities and operations. He will now establish staff recruiting areas and responsibilities and manage roster structure under the direct supervision of Solich in addition to his previous duties. In Bainbridge's short tenure overseeing the internal recruiting department, Ohio has already signed a class that has the highest average rating per player in school history (2019: .8103 rating, per 24/7 Sports). 

Bainbridge spent the 2016 season as operations assistant for the Bobcats. 

Bainbridge is a 2015 graduate of Ohio with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration and will graduate again this May from Ohio with a Master of Sports Administration degree. During his final year of undergrad, he worked with the Bobcats filming practices and games, as well as creating video for coaches.

Before working with football, Bainbridge served as the Women's Volleyball student manager for 3 years working on data, scouting, and film. Bainbridge also has experience tracking statistics for a Summer League Baseball team, the Southern Ohio Copperheads, and working in the operations department with Ohio men’s and women’s basketball as a team and officials liaison. Originally from Lancaster, Pa., Bainbridge graduated from Hempfield High School in 2011.
