2023: Appeared in 14 games for the Bobcats… Tallied eight points from one goal and six assists on the season… Scored five total points in a 7-0 win over Longwood (Sept. 29), where she scored her first career goal and made a hat trick of assists… Assisted in an 8-2 win over Bellarmine (Oct. 20) and assisted twice against Appalachian State (Oct. 27) in the next game… Ranked eighth total in the MAC in assists and 24th in total points as a Freshman… Ranked third on the team in assists and sixth in points… 45th in the NCAA in assists per game… Named to the MAC All-Freshman Team.
PRIOR TO OHIO: Played field hockey for TuS Lichterfelde Hockey e.v. for 15 years. A decorated athlete, Johanna helped her club win the indoor field hockey German National Championship in 2017. Johanna and her team also placed third in 2022 and fourth in 2019.
PERSONAL: The daughter of Hauke Hildebrandt and Anne Langlueddeke, Johanna has three siblings: Jonas, Jasper, and Jule. During her time at Ohio, Johanna plans to study psychology with the professional goal of becoming a sports psychologist.
