2024: Made 22 appearances with 18 starts ... Tallied 11 runs, three doubles, one triple, home run and five RBI's ... Recorded a .339 slugging percentage and .364 on-base percentage ... Finished with 120 putouts, six assists and a .969 fielding percentage ... Season-high two hits, one double and triple in 14-5 win at Miami (OH) (May 11) ... Season-high 13 putouts in 10-9 win over Kent State (March 16).

PRIOR TO OHIO: Earned four varsity letters for the baseball team. He also played for the Motor City Hit Dogs, where he finished the 2022 season with a .426 batting average, ,546 on-base percentage and 22 RBIs. Cassidy helped the team claim the district championships in 2021 and 2022, earning All-District honors both years as well as All-Catholic honors in 2021. He earned honor roll recognition as well as the Gabriel Richard Award for Excellent Academic Achievement every year since 2019. 
 
PERSONAL: Cassidy is the son of Kirk and Jessica and has one sister, Samarra. His father also played baseball, advancing to the Miami Marlins farm system. He plans to major in business with a focus in sports marketing, with the hop of playing or working for a professional team. In Cassidy's spare time, he likes golfing, fishing and hanging out with friends. His favorite athlete is Yadier Molina and he roots for the Miami Marlins, the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions.
