Picked up his first career win in a 14-5 victory over LaSalle (Feb. 18), fanning three in six innings of work ... Named MAC East Division Pitcher of the Week on March 6 ... Fanned a career-high seven in six innings of work in a 4-3 victory at Wright State (March 10) ... Struck out seven for a second-straight start to match his career high in 5.1 frames on the mound to earn his third win in a 7-4 victory over Siena (March 18) in the second game of a doubleheader. 

Prior to Ohio: Played at Wabash Valley in 2016, going 11-3 over 15 appearances -- including a team-high five starts -- and 73.2 innings pitching, tallying a team-high 136 strikeouts and posting a 2.08 ERA ... Made 14 relief appearances in first collegiate season at Louisville in 2015, finishing with a 1-0 record and a 3.52 ERA over 7.2 innings pitched ... Was a four-year letterwinner as a pitcher for West Holmes High School, where he was a key contributor to his team's fourth-place finish in the state of Ohio in 2012 ... Won more than 20 games as a prep pitcher for the Knights and ranked as a top-25 player in the state of Ohio by Perfect Game ... Was also named All-Central Region honorable mention by Perfect Game ... Was ranked the 12th-best player in the state of Ohio by Prep Baseball Report in 2014.
