
Ohio Volleyball Announces 2026 Promotional Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio Athletics has announced its promotional schedule for the 2026 volleyball season.

The Bobcats will host 11 matches in the Convocation Center this season, including its annual Bobcat Invitational presented by AthensOhio.com, as they look to make a run for the Mid-American Conference title under the leadership of head coach Kenzie Brinkman.

Ohio opens its home schedule with its Bobcat Invitational presented by AthensOhio.com on Friday, Sept. 18. The Bobcats will kick off the invitational with a doubleheader against Morgan State and UNC Asheville. Schedule posters will be available for fans during the Morgan State match, which is set to start at 10 a.m. ET. The match against UNC Asheville will be a Green Out, with the first 150 fans receiving a green T-shirt. Ohio will conclude the invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19, when the Bobcats host Mercyhurst for Kids Day.

Ohio welcomes Akron to the Convocation Center on Friday, Oct. 2, for a White Out. Fans are encouraged to wear white, and the first 150 fans will receive a white Rufus T-shirt. The Bobcats face Akron again on Saturday, Oct. 3, for their Turn It Gold game.

Ball State visits Athens on Friday, Oct. 16, for the Dig Pink Game and Alumni Weekend. Pink T-shirts and ribbons will be available at the entrance while supplies last, and the match will include a breast cancer awareness message and a Chuck-a-Duck promotion. The Bobcats will conclude its two-game series with Ball State on Saturday, Oct. 17 for Mental Health Awareness Night. Fans will have the opportunity to receive a stress-brain ball giveaway.

On Tuesday, Oct. 27, Ohio will host Kent State for Pack the Convo Night. Rally towels will be available to fans.

Ohio closes the month with a home match against Western Michigan on Friday, Oct. 30 where fans will be able to compete in a speed serve challenge to see which fans have the hardest serve.

The Battle of the Bricks returns on Sunday, Nov. 8, when Ohio hosts Miami for Senior Night. Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the Bobcats recognize their seniors, and brick-shaped stress relievers will be given away.

The home promotional schedule concludes on Friday, Nov. 13, against Buffalo with Student Appreciation Night. Gift cards will be awarded to selected students, and the first 200 students will receive Chick-fil-A sandwiches.

T-shirts and mini volleyballs will also be tossed into the stands at each home match, in addition to the scheduled theme-night giveaways. Promotions and giveaway quantities are subject to change and available while supplies last.
