Ohio Men's Golf Adds Transfer Nick Baum to the Roster

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio men's golf team will add Nick Baum, a transfer from Guilford College, head coach Brennan Whitis announced on Friday (Aug. 14). Baum will join the Bobcats as a junior in the upcoming season.
"Nick will be a great addition to our team this year! Adding him as an upperclassman transfer was important to help our young roster. He's going to bring a ton of experience for our guys!"
Baum comes to Ohio following stops at Guilford College and Averett University. At Guilford, Baum competed in one event during the season and earned ODAC All-Academic Team honors. Before his one-year stint at Guilford, Baum spent a season at Averett, where he competed in nine events and recorded a career-best finish of tied for 24th at the 2025 ODAC Championship. A native of Roaring Spring, Pa., Baum graduated from Central High School.
