AKRON, Ohio – The Ohio Women's Golf team started day one of the Mid-American Conference Championships (MAC) Sunday morning (Apr. 26), at Firestone Country Club, in Akron, Ohio, hosted by Kent State. Ohio's starting lineup for the MAC Championships consisted of junior

Mackenzie McRee, junior
Morgan Rodgers, sophomore
Ally Turner, and freshman
Paige Treherne. After round one of competition, the Bobcats sit in eighth place with an overall score of 302 (+22). Luebbers is the highest-finishing Bobcat, tied for 21
st.
After one round, the hosts, Kent State, head into round two in first place with an overall score of 278 (-2). Eastern Michigan ends the round in second place with a score of 281 (+1); Bowling Green sits in third place with a score of 284 (+4), and Ball State and Western Michigan are tied for fourth with a score of 290 (+10). Bowling Green's Sammie Dolce and Kent State's Veronika Kedronová are tied first after round one, both shooting a score of 67 (-3).
Luebbers (Cincinnati, Ohio) leads the way for the Bobcats, sitting tied 21
st with a round one score of 74 (+4), including four birdies on the day.
Turner (Miamisburg, Ohio) finished right behind Luebbers with a first-round score of 75 (+5), ending the day tied 26
th with two birdies.
Rodgers (Centerville, Ohio) ended the day behind Turner with an overall score of 76 (+6), finishing tied 32
nd, with one hole under par.
Treherne (Cincinnati, Ohio) finished the day with a round one score of 77 (+7) and ended the day tied 40
th, and capped off her round with three birdies.
McRee (Tucson, AZ) ended round one with an overscore of 81 (+11) and currently sits in 48
th place, with one birdie on the day.
The Bobcats look to move up the leaderboard tomorrow in round two of play at the Firestone Country Club, with the McRee teeing off first for the Bobcats at 10:15 a.m. The rest of the Ohio lineup will tee off every nine minutes after McRee.
