ATHENS, Ohio— Ohio football alumnus
Sieh Bangura was invited to the Tennessee Titans rookie minicamp today (April 25).
Bangura (Bowie, Md.) was among the best offensive players in the Mid-American Conference in 2025, returning to Ohio after a one-year stint at Minnesota. The redshirt senior running back led the MAC in rushing yards (1,392), rushing touchdowns (15), and rushing yards per game (107.1). Bangura also cemented his name in the Ohio record books this season after becoming the fifth Bobcat to surpass 3,000 career rushing yards and the fifth Bobcat to record multiple 1,000-yard seasons. Bangura was a two-time MAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 20 and Nov. 24) as well as MAC Co-Special Teams Player of the Week (Nov. 10) after recording a 97-yard kick return touchdown against Miami in the 2025 Battle of the Bricks (Nov. 4). He closed out his career as a Bobcat as the 2025 Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl Offensive MVP and an All-MAC First-Team honoree.
Bangura started his time with the Bobcats with a bang, scoring his first collegiate touchdown on his first career carry against Central Michigan (Oct. 9, 2021). Following his breakout 2022 season, Bangura was named MAC Freshman of the Year, logging his first of two 1,000-plus yard seasons for Ohio. Bangura transferred to Minnesota for the 2024 season, appearing in three games.
