MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ohio women's track & field team concluded two days of competition at the We Fly Challenge on Saturday, April 11.
The women's 4x400m relay team, comprised of junior
Jada Irwin (Fairfield, Ohio), freshman
Sydney Huckstep, freshman
Alyvia Mentlow (Westerville, Ohio) and sophomore
Ava Kincaid (Perrysburg, Ohio), won the event with a season-best time of 3:44.92. The time is the third-fastest outdoor 4x400m relay time in program history.

Freshman
Aubree Beery kicked off the meet with a second-place finish in the women's hammer throw. Beery recorded a mark of 51.25 meters (168-2).
Sophomore
Lauren Mader (Green Bay, Wis.) earned second place in the women's discus with a PR of 47.18 meters (154-9).

Junior
Abby Wells (Westerville, Ohio) led Ohio in the women's 800m, placing sixth overall with a time of 2:20.84.
Freshman
Savannah Hunter (Portsmouth, Va.) and sophomore
Ava Kincaid (Perrysburg, Ohio) both finished in the top 10 of the women's 100m hurdles. Hunter placed seventh (15.14) and Kincaid took home 10
th place (15.33). Hunter also placed second in the women's triple jump with a mark of 11.36 meters (37-3.25).
Long competed in the women's 400m, recording an eighth-place finish (58.01) for the Bobcats.
Freshman
Kewogo Bendick placed third in the women's long jump, recording a PR of 5.70 meters (18-8.5).
Two Bobcats set new PR's in the women's 400m hurdles. Freshman
Zoey Caldwell finished ninth with a PR of 1:04.54 and sophomore Elisabeth Francyzk (Washington, Pa.) finished 11
th with a PR of 1:04.73.
Three Bobcats competed in the women's 1500m, all recording new personal best times in the event. Senior
Morgan Roth (Brunswick, Ohio) finished ninth (4:38.82, PR), sophomore
Sophie Lane (Hilliard, Ohio) finished 14
th (4:46.48, PR) and junior
Eliza Streit (Plain City, Ohio) finished in 15
th place (4:48.08, PR).
The Bobcats will be back in action at the Wake Forest Invitational on Thursday, April 16.
