ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio softball home opener against Dayton, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 at 5 p.m. at the Ohio Softball Field, has been canceled. At the moment there is not a plan to reschedule. 

The Ohio softball team will now have their home opener on Friday, March 20 against Northern Illinois. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. ET at the Ohio Softball Field and can be seen on ESPN+.
