ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio baseball team has released its 2026 schedule, as announced by head coach Andrew See on Thursday, Jan. 8. The Bobcats will host 20 games at Bob Wren Stadium and will play a total of 33 conference games.
The Bobcats will kick off the season with a three-game series at Murray State (Feb. 13-15). Ohio will remain on the road, traveling to Cookeville, Tenn. for a three-game series at Tennessee Tech (Feb. 20-22).
Ohio is set to play its home opener against Dayton on Friday, Feb. 27 as part of a four-game series with the Flyers. The Bobcats will also host the Flyers on Saturday, Feb. 28 before traveling to Dayton for two away games (March 1-2). Before starting conference play, Ohio will travel to Pittsburgh for midweek game on Wednesday, March 4.
The Bobcats are set to open MAC play at home with a three-game series against Northern Illinois (March 6-8). The following week, Ohio will hit the road for a two-game series at Austin Peay (March 10-11). The Bobcats return to Bob Wren Stadium for its second MAC series of the season against Western Michigan (March 13-15).
Ohio will finish the month of March with eight-straight games on the road. The Bobcats will start their time on the road with a midweek game at Morehead State (March 17). Ohio's next six games will be conference matchup, including a three-game series at Bowling Green (March 20-22) and a three-game series at Ball State (March 27-29). The Bobcats are set to conclude their road stint with a midweek game at Marshall (March 31).
Ohio will open the month of April with a three-game series against Kent State (April 2-4) at Bob Wren Stadium. The Bobcats will also host a midweek game against Morehead State on Tuesday, April 7. Ohio hits the road for seven games, six that are conference matchups. The Bobcats will travel to Miami (April 10-12) for their Battle of the Bricks series. Before heading to Central Michigan (April 17-19) for a three-game MAC series, Ohio will stop at Northern Kentucky for a midweek game on Tuesday, April 14.
Ohio returns home for its second matchup against Northern Kentucky on Tuesday, April 21. The Bobcats will remain home for a three-game conference series against Akron (April 24-26). Ohio will face Marshall for the second time this season at home on Wednesday, April 29.
The Bobcats will kick off the month of May with a three-game series at MAC opponent, UMass (May 1-3). Ohio returns to Bob Wren Stadium for its final home games of the season against Toledo (May 8-10). The Bobcats hit the road for the final week of the regular season. Ohio's first stop will be at Michigan for a midweek game on Tuesday, May 12. The Bobcats will then conclude the regular season with a three-game conference series at Eastern Michigan (May 14-16).
The 2026 Mid-American Conference Tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20 - Sunday, May 24 and will be played at Crushers Stadium in Avon, Ohio.
