CLEVELAND – Junior Ellie Greenwell (Park Hills, Ky.) has been named Mid-American Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the league on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
 
Greenwell was once again a top performer for Ohio at the Indiana Invitational this past weekend. Greenwell recorded a PR in the mile for the second weekend in a row. She placed third overall with a personal-best time of 4:48.02. Greenwell's time is the second-fastest indoor time for the mile in program history.
 
Greenwell was previously named MAC Track Athlete of the Week (Jan. 14) after she broke the school record in the women's 1000m at the Marshall Alumni Classic. At Marshall, the junior took home first place in both the women's 1000m and mile.
 
Greenwell and the Bobcats will be back in action at the Ashland Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 24.
