The Brian Smith Show Kicks Off at Gem Sports Bar Monday Night

ATHENS, Ohio — The Brian Smith Show returns tonight (Aug. 25) on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield, presented by Holzer Health System. The show will broadcast live from The Gem Sports Bar on East State Street in Athens from 6 to 7 p.m.Â
Special guests include head football coach Brian Smith, interim head volleyball coach Kenzie Brinkman and graduate student offensive lineman Shedrick Rhodes Jr.Â
The Brian Smith Show visits three locations this season: The Gem Sports Bar, Athens Country Club and Eclipse Company Store. The broadcast is live from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., open to the public and free to attend.  Join "The Voice of Bobcats Football," Marty Bannister, and first-year head coach Brian Smith for a weekly recap and a look ahead at upcoming matchups. Each week will also feature various Ohio athletes, coaches and special guests.Â
The Brian Smith Show airs on five Ohio Sports Network radio stations. Fans outside of the over-the-air coverage area can listen via "The Varsity Network" app on mobile devices and online at OhioBobcats.com. A video stream of most shows will be available through the department's social media channels.
