Ohio Men’s Basketball Earns 2024-25 NABC Team Academic Excellence and Honors Court Awards

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Ohio men's basketball team has earned the 2024-25 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards, while five Bobcats earned a spot on the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court, the organization announced today (July 17).
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
As a team, the Bobcats finished with an overall team GPA of 3.222.
Meanwhile, Jackson Paveletzke, Shereef Mitchell, Vic Searls, Ben Estis and AJ Brown all were named to the NABC Honors Court.
Over 2,400 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court and nearly 400 programs received NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for 2024-25.
